Apropos a news item titled "NTDC accuses Nepra of violating law', published on Mach 3, 2020, the spokesman for National Transmission and Desptach Company Limited (NTDC) has clarified that "NTDC has filed a Review motion against Nepra's determination of November 05, 2019 wherein STDC was granted a transmission licence."
The spokesman further said that "it would be pertinent to mention here that filing a review petition is a legal remedy which NTDC or any other concerned party is legally entitled to avail under the applicable law. In the review motion NTDC has taken certain legal grounds, which is a routine matter in any other similar legal proceedings. Hence, the impression created in the news report with respect to accusing the Authority for violating laws is somewhat harsh and not accurate."
