SAPM on health dismisses rumors that coronavirus cases being hidden in Pakistan

Special Assistant to Prime Minister Imran Khan (SAPM) on Health Dr Zafar Mirza has said that all five patients who tested positive for the coronavirus are in stable condition.
Speaking to the media on Wednesday, the SAPM said that not every little case of the common cough or flu should be mistaken for the coronavirus. He continued that if people get alarmed at every little illness, then there will soon be a panic in the country.
While speaking about the Pakistani students stranded in China, Dr Mirza said that the ministry is in constant touch with the students, adding that they are being fully taken care of with the help of China.
Dr Mirza also announced that a program 'Yaran-e-Watan' is being launched to enable Pakistani doctors serving abroad to make their contributions in bringing improvement in the country's healthcare system.
The SAPM also dismissed rumors that the number of coronavirus cases in Pakistan were being understated because the Pakistan Super League. He said the reports are '200 percent untrue'.
