Sammy, Amla meet Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad

Peshawar Zalmi owner Javed Afirid, Skipper Darren Sammy, Batting Mentor Hasim Amla and Head Coach met Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad on Wednesday.
PM Imran congratulated Sammy on receiving honorary citizenship of Pakistan, which will be formally given to him on 23rd March.
He said, “Javed Afridi always appreciated the role of Daren Sammy and played part in getting him the honorary citizenship.”
“You [Sammy] are now a Pakistani citizen, and your role in bringing international cricket back to Pakistan will always be remembered,” Khan told Sammy. “Javed Afridi and Daren Sammy have worked together in bringing cricket back to Pakistan.”
The Prime Minister also welcomed South African legendary batsman Hashim Amla.
He added: “I’m glad that whole PSL is taking place in Pakistan, people are also happy and all matches of PSL have been full houses. This is a message for the whole world.”
