Aurat March Twitter Round-Up: Aamir Liaquat shows more support than Mahira Khan and Quratulain Baloch
Ahead of the most controversial event of the year ‘Aurat March’, a recent feud on a live TV show has sparked serious debate online. Pakistani actors and actresses are talking about Khalil-ur-Rehman and Marvi Sirmad controversy.
Some are shockingly on Khalil’s side, while many Pakistani celebrities have been condemning the unethical behavior of Rehman.
Singer Quratulain Balouch took to Twitter yesterday to give her opinion of the contrast between "real" and "fake" feminists:
In a recent and heartbreaking tweet, “Real feminist gets down to work and wastes no time shouting for her ‘rights’.”

Her tweet just landed her in one of the biggest controversies of the week as QB chosen controversial words in a failed attempt to empower the feminists.
QB stands by her earlier tweet and explains who real feminists are:
This ones for my Mom, my step mom, Shamim Akhtar, Anisa khan, Zahida Qazmi, Yasmeen Kanwal, Malala, Hajra Khan, women in armed forces and so many likes of these tenacious women who work EVERYDAY towards what they believe in. Then the universe conspires the best plan.

Khalil-ur-Rehman made the most derogatory statements towards the woman guest analyst Marvi Sirmad who also happens to be a well-known feminist, activist and analyst.
Mahira Khan discusses controversial placards
Famous actress Mahira Khan also took to Twitter to discuss slogans that previous 'Aurat March' displayed:
I’m sure those who have been organizing the Aurat March are experienced, have been working for years for the cause of women..they have a better idea of what should and should not be done. I write out of pure observation. #WhyIMarch pic.twitter.com/D3AUQYM3Re

And as soon as the tweet reached the masses, it became a topic of debate amongst the netizens. Well, last year, pictures of Ranbir Kapoor and Mahira Khan sharing a smoke in New York took the internet by storm. The actress said she felt “violated” when images of her sharing a cigarette with Indian actor Ranbir Kapoor emerged in the media. Even when smoking, Mahira was laughing in a mocking manner and did not care about what people around would think.
Mahira also famously previously said that it was "crazy" and "ridiculous" that her pictures with Ranbir had become a topic of national interest.
Something that took us all by surprise was Aamir Liaquat’s take on the matter. On a live talk show, Aamir Liaquat Hussain started off with saying Khalil ur Rehman Qamar has presented baseless and very idiotic arguments that held no ground. He added further that he always thought Khalil ur Rehman Qamar was just ill-mannered. But after yesterday hefelt that Qamar was in need of treatment. “He needs to go to a psychiatrist,” were Aamir Liaquat’s actual words.
Adding further, Aamir Liaquat went all the way, stating, “His state of mind has deteriorated to the extent that he has become fully self obsessed. It would be better if he’s put in an isolation ward as he is not fit to live with humans.”
Currently, ‘MeraJismMeriMarzi’ is among the top trends on Twitter Pakistan, as per the collected information, several Pakistani celebrities including Mahira Khan and Aamir Liaquat are bashing the writer. Apparently, the majority of Pakistanis are supporting Khalil Ur Rehman on breaking the typical ‘Pakistani feminist’ approach.
