Divisional Commissioner Hyderabad Mohammed Abbas Baloch presiding over a meeting regarding traffic issues at his office committee room directed the officers concerned to seek the permanent solution of traffic problems of people of Hyderabad.
The meeting discussed the problems being faced by the people due to non availability of bus terminal and traffic issues in detail. The Commissioner Hyderabad directed the Secretary Regional Transport Authority Hyderabad to seek the permission from the Deputy Commissioner Hyderabad before issuing any order as the DC is the chairman/chairperson of the RTA.
He said keeping in view the orders of the court the traffic problems should be resolved so that traffic flow inside and outside the city could be ensured. He directed the officers concerned to go to court for restoration of Hala Naka bus terminal as the bomb proof wall of Central Prison had been erected for which the bus terminal was extirpated.
He also underlined the need of restoring Badin Bus Stand so that people could be provided better traveling facilities. He asked the participants of the meeting to come with their proposals, suggestions and required documents in the next meeting. DIG Hyderabad Naeem Shaikh, DC Hyderabad Aisha Abro, SSP Hyderabad Adeel Chandio and others attended the meeting.
