Liaqat Baloch; Naib Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Pakistan has urged the federal government for immediate payment of dues of six thousand retired employees of Pakistan Steel Mills (PSM) as they are facing financial difficulty to run their kitchen.
Addressing a gathering of retired employees of national entity, arranged by JI Malir district at Gulshan-e-Hadeed, he said despite tall claims of the present government, the PSM employees are deprived of their rights and still facing delay in payment of dues. He assured that JI would raise voice on assembly floor against non-payment of dues and also put this issue before legislative bodies.
Ameer district Malir, Muhammad Islam said that JI consultative council would struggle for rights of retired employees and will ensure the payment of due to retired employees. He informed that consultative council has suggested government to start making payment of Rs 30,000 per month to every retired employee to enable them to run their kitchens and this amount should not be deducted from retirement sum.
