Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani has said that the situation is under control regarding coronavirus and according to experts educational institutions could be opened but implementation on health advisory is necessary
He was talking to media persons after holding a meeting with education officers of Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas and Shaheed Benazirabad divisions at Shahbaz Hall here at Hyderabad on Thursday. He said that the measures taken by Sindh Government for Coronavirus were far better than other provinces, but this was not the time of fighting but combating jointly against this virus.
Replying to a question, he said it was easy decision for us to close educational institutions, markets and suspend PSL matches in Karachi but the situation was not so bad as in Iran, Italy and other seriously affected countries and we don't want to lock down the city. He said that 14 cases had been reported positive and one had been cured and another patient would be recovered soon while remaining 12 patients were out of danger.
He appealed to the people to act upon the advice of the Sindh government so that we could fight Coronavirus together.
