JUI-F Chief Maulana Fazalur Rehman has suspended all political activities due to precautionary measures against Corona Virus till March 31, 2020, new schedule of his political activities would be released later.
This was announced by Deputy Secretary General JUI-F, Maulana Mohammad Amjad Khan while talking to media Saturday. He said that precautionary measures are being taken for the prevention of Corona Virus and the party after consultation has decided to suspend all schedule political programmes of Maulana Fazalur Rehman.
He said that Maulana Fazalur Rehman was scheduled to address public meetings in Bannu on March 16, in Lahore on March 19 and similar gatherings at Bakkar, Attock and Kohat. He said that all these public meetings have been suspended. Maulana Mohammad Amjad Khan said that JUI-F was going to stage a big public meeting at historic Mochi Gate, Lahore wherein the leaders of other opposition parties were also scheduled to address and that programme has also been suspended.
The JUI-F stalwart urged upon all political parties to join hands for the elimination of the Corona Virus and said that there should be no politics over the issue. He also urged upon the religious seminaries to inform people regarding precautionary measures after Friday and other prayers.
