Semifinal line-up for HBL PSL2020 confirmed

• Semifinal and final of the tournament will be played in Lahore.

Semifinal line-up for the Habib Bank Limited (HBL) Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2020 has been confirmed with defending champions Quetta Gladiators missing out for the first time.

With equation of chasing 158 in 3.2 overs practically impossible, mark the exit of the defending champions, who may finish the tournament on fifth position if they win ongoing game against Karachi Kings. They featured in top three in previous four editions.

Earlier today, Lahore Qalandars comprehensively defeated table topper Multan Sultans at the Gaddafi Stadium by nine wickets to make into semis for the first time.

With top four positions are set, now Peshawar Zalmi will face Multan Sultans, while in second semifinal Lahore Qalandars will face Karachi Kings.

Both semifinals will be played at the Gaddafi Stadium on March 17 and final of the tournament will be played on March 18 at the same venue.

Amid coronavirus outbreak, both semifinals and final will be played behind closed doors.
