Sindh Minister for Information, Local Government, Housing & Town Planning, Religious Affairs, Forest & Wildlife Syed Nasir Hussain Shah and Minister for Education and Labor Saeed Ghani on Sunday met with religious scholars of various sects and apprise them about the measures being adopted by the Sindh government to keep the people safe from getting affected by the new coronavirus.
Syed Nasir Hussain Shah informed the religious scholars about the earnestness of Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah in dealing with the pandemic. The ministers met with Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman at Darul Uloom Naeemia, Maulana Bashir Ahmed Farooqui at the office of Sailani Trust and members of the coordination committee of Dawat-e-Islami Karachi at Faizan-e-Madina.
Syed Nasir Hussain Shah told the religious scholars that the Sindh government was adopting every necessary preventive measure to keep the people of the province safe from coronavirus.
Speaking on the occasion Sindh Minister for Education said that Sindh Chief Minister had imposed an emergency for the purpose, and following that all the educational institutions had been closed.
The ministers also apprised the religious scholars about the recently issued advisory of Sindh Health Ministry. Syed Nasir Hussain Shah said that people from every walk of life should play their role in Sindh government's efforts against controlling this menace. He requested the religious scholars for the same.
Syed Nasir Hussain Shah said that the Sindh government was very well aware of the importance of the messages of religious scholars in these testing times. The ministers said that on the directives of Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah they came to meet the religious scholars to seek their help.
Speaking to the ministers all the religious scholars while appreciating the efforts of the Sindh government, particularly the role played by Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah offered their full support in their endeavor in tackling the situation arose after the spread of new coronavirus.
Mufti Muneed-ur-Rehman said that the Sindh government acted vigorously to control the situation. He extended his full support to the Sindh government, saying that it was not a political issue rather it was a serious matter that had threatened the people worldwide.
Mufti Rehman prayed for the safety of the people of Pakistan from this new coronavirus. He said that he would also play his role to create awareness amongst the people about the health advisory of the Sindh government through the platform of mosques and seminaries.
Members of the coordination committee of Dawat-e-Islami Karachi also extended their full support to the Sindh government during their meeting with Syed Nasir Hussain Shah and Saeed Ghani. The ministers on the occasion requested for a video message of Mulana Ilyas Qadri to endorse the health advisory issued by the Sindh government in its efforts to control the spread of new coronavirus.
The members of the coordination committee of Dawat-e-Islami agreed for the same and assured the ministers that a video message in this regard would be released soon. Maulana Bashir Farooqui also while endorsing the steps being taken by the Sindh government extended his full support.
He told the ministers that the Sailani Welfare had also circulated the health advisory of the Sindh government at its all the centres. He said that all of us were with the Sindh government in this difficult time and that their platform was available for any support in this regard.-PR
