KHANEWAL: Three persons were killed and one sustained injuries after collided a car with a trailer near 6-More Jahanian on Friday.
According to details, the car, LED-9489, while travelling from Faisalabad to Rahimyar Khan, collided with a trailer DKJ-139, soon after overtaking another vehicle on Khanewal-Lahore highway near 6-More, some four kilometres away from Jahanian city.
Three persons who were seated in the car were killed on the spot while the driver Nasarullah was injured seriously.
Those killed included Dr. Ghazanfar of Kasur, Nadeem s/o Nasarullah of Faisalabad and a woman.
Rescue 1122 shifted bodies to THQ hospital Jahanian for postmortem examination. Injured driver was referred to Nishtar hospital Multan due to serious injuries.
Jahanian police are investigating.
