While reports of corona tests are pouring in, the number of total confirmed corona cases has risen to 26 as 18 more people have been tested positive in Punjab till the filing of this report.

Health officials are testing all the suspected patients and 736 zaireen quarantined in DG Khan. As many as 1,276 zaireen are coming from Taftan and they will also be quarantined. Sources claimed that while more cases are being confirmed, authorities have started planning for future and in this regard, all concerned authorities are making preparations. On the other hand, Young Doctors Association (YDA) representatives are raising voices over poor planning and facilities to doctors to deal with the patients. The Punjab health department is not only facing challenges like corona, dengue and polio but also have such human resource which is prepared to deal emergency. A representative delegation of the YDA met Punjab Governor Ch Mohammad Sarwar here on Tuesday and announced to postpone their strike. The Governor assured to resolve the issues of the doctors.
