No exams, including Cambridge, to be held before June 1: Shafqat Mahmood

Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood announced on Wednesday that all examinations have been postponed till June 1 due to the coronavirus and the alarming increase of cases in Pakistan.
He said the government has decided that no exams including board exams and A and O level Cambridge exams will take place in Pakistan before June 1. He said the decision has been taken 'because the safety of our children is of paramount importance to Prime Minister Imran Khan and our government'
"We will continue to review the situation and take necessary decisions to protect our children," the education minister tweeted.
