JI turns its health facilities, offices into Corona Help Centres
Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi has converted its 70 offices, hospitals and clinics into 'Coronavirus Help Centres' to facilitate the masses. Addressing a press conference here on Saturday at Idara Noor-e-Haq, JI Karachi Ameer Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman announced also demanded government to ensure arrangements at all government and private hospitals to carry out free of cost tests of Coronavirus and set up isolation wards in Social Security hospitals.
He said JI Karachi has constituted a central committee under Naib Ameer Osama Razi which would monitor and keep liaison with JI committees, set up on central, district and local levels for performance on coronavirus. While, MPA Abdul Rasheed has been appointed coordinator for coordination with Sindh Government, he added.
In addition, JI volunteer teams would be available round the clock to serve people and hospitals in need under a committee, headed by President Youth Wing, Hashim Abdali.
