Amid the spike in coronavirus cases in the country, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) announced on Monday its decision to close all schools till May 31.
In a notification issued, the government said that these holidays shall be considered summer vacations. The province has also canceled all activities and examinations.
Meanwhile, teachers and other staff are also banned from visiting school campuses, local media reported.
KP has reported 195 confirmed cases of coronavirus. The province has reported five deaths due to the virus.
