Lahore Qalandar pacer Dilbar Hussain and Peshawar Zalmi’s Haider Ali not only have made a name for themselves in Habib Bank Limited (HBL) Pakistan Super League (PSL) season five, but also able to get Pakistan Head Coach Misbah ul Haq’s attention.
Where Haider proven himself with the bat during the tournament, Dilbar, who had a rough start to his career at Melbourne Stars, showed glimpse of his talent in Qalandars kit.
Talking to reporters via telephone, Misbah showed praises on right-handed batsman and said he is already a star at junior level cricket and now he has done it in T20 as well.
“Haider Ali had already made a name for himself after performing in domestic and junior level cricket. Even in Under 19 cricket, his performances were outstanding,” he said. “Now he has impressed everyone in T20 cricket as well with his batting in PSL. He is someone who can play quality strokes against any kind of bowler.”
Meanwhile, commenting on Qalandar’s pacer Misbah believes that the pacer can develop into a quality T20 bowler.
