He also visited different sections of the hospital and reviewed the facilities there.

Prime Minister Imran Khan inaugurated on Wednesday the upgradation project of Cantonment General Hospital Rawalpindi.

He was accompanied by Minister for Railways Sheikh Rashid. The PM also visited different sections of the hospital and reviewed the facilities there.

Addressing the gathering, the PM assured that doctors, nurses and other medical staff battling coronavirus will be provided with necessary protective equipment to ensure their safety and health.

He added discussions are being held daily as to how the health workers can be further supported.
