MoF yet to revise fiscal deficit figures

The Finance Ministry has yet to rationalise figures of fiscal deficit subsequent to relief package announced by the prime minister on March 24, however work is in progress, stated spokesman of the ministry, Omer Hameed. On March 26, mediapersons asked Adviser to the Prime Minister on Finance about rationalised exercise of implication of the package on revenue and expenditure.
H stated that the secretary finance was working on it and it would be shared with media as soon as it was finalised.
On Thursday, when contract, Hameed said that, "we are still calculating budget figures, and these are yet to be rationalized."
