SCCI to provide 40 isolation rooms, 10 ventilators
President Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) Muhammad Ashraf Malik discussed, matters pertaining to prevailing COVID-19 pandemic, here last evening with Provincial Minister of Special Education Punjab Chaudhry Mohammed Akhlaq, Commissioner Gujranwala Division Gulzar Hussain Shah, Deputy Commissioner Sialkot Dr. Nasir Mahmood Bashir, and District Police Officer Captain Mustan Feroze(R).
During the meeting, President Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry Muhammad Ashraf Malik, announced that the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry in collaboration with Sialkot Medical College and Imran Idris Teaching Hospital would provide 40 isolation rooms, 10 ventilators, along with paramedical staff, and doctors, for patients of "Corona Virus COVID-19" in Sialkot city, as a token to support the Government and in continuation of Sialkot Chamber's socio-economic contributions in the greater interest of the people of the city.
Malik especially thanked the management of Sialkot Medical College and Imran Idris Teaching Hospital for standing up to the call of Sialkot Chamber and their resolve to provide services to the coronavirus Patients.
The Commissioner Gujranwala Division appreciated and acknowledged the role of the SCCI, in preventing the spread of the pandemic, with the lockdown and also hailed the announcement of Medical facility for the quarantine center and treatment of patients of coronavirus.
President SCCI, Muhammad Ashraf Malik, appreciated the preventive measures being taken by the District Administration of Sialkot to prevent the city and district from the outbreak of COVID-19 coronavirus.
He also added that the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry, adhering to the instructions of the Government, had closed the Industry and opted for a lockdown. He ensured that the Business Community of Sialkot would stand along with District, Provincial and Federal Government, in the time of the National Crisis.
