District administration, Khyber on Sunday launched mobile testing services of the possible suspected people of COVID 19, aiming at to contain spread of the novel coronavirus pandemic in remotes areas.
District Health Officer (DHO), Khyber Dr Tariq Hayat said on Sunday that the health department team comprised doctors and two paramedic staff who would visit the remote areas of the districts in case of suspicion or information convoyed to them and would collect sample in larger scale that would be sent for coronavirus test to Peshawar laboratory.
The health official said that in first phase one vehicle of the health department was supplied and later on Rescue teams would also be assigned the same duty.
The mobile van was equipped with all necessary needs, however he added that they lack test kits and the demand for it had been already forward to their high-up's.
