ICE Canadian canola futures fell on Tuesday.
There was some pretty aggressive selling by farmers, a trader said, likely in preparation for spring planting season. Volumes were low and there was little speculative activity.
May canola lost $2.10 to $460.50 per tonne.
May-July canola spread traded 3,648 times. US soyabean futures inched up on reports of dryness in Argentina trimming soyabean yields, but were capped by a lagging soymeal market.
