LCCI chief meets CCPO, DC
President of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry Irfan Iqbal Sheikh had a joint meeting with Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Zulfiqar Hameed and Deputy Commissioner Lahore Danish Afzal at the CCOP office on Friday to discuss a strategy and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) against coronavirus threat.
The CCPO and the deputy commissioner took the LCCI office bearers on board for implementation of preventative measures as directed by the national as well as provincial governments in the wake of coronavirus outbreak.
"War against coronavirus can be conquered through joint efforts therefore everyone would have to play their role," said the officials.
LCCI President Irfan Iqbal Sheikh said the Lahore Chamber is active from the day-one and making all out efforts to support the government against coronavirus.
The LCCI has given donations of millions of rupees to the Prime Minister's, Chief Minister's and Governor Punjab's coronavirus relief funds.
The chamber will continue to fulfill its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in a winsome manner as it has the understanding that the government alone cannot cope with the mass devastation caused by the coronavirus.
