Former England batsman Kevin Pietersen backing Prime Minister Imran Khan’s appeal to raise fund to tackle coronavirus, called overseas Pakistanis to donate in the cause and help there county in the fight against the deadly bug.
The death toll from the virus in Pakistan have reached 93 till now with over 5000 affected from the deadly bug which spared in China late last year.
Calling out Pakistanis, KP in a video message said: “Hi guys I’m Kevin Pietersen. At his moment what I’m doing is trying to assist in what I supposed is a dire situation in Pakistan.”

“We all knows Pakistanis all over the world contributing back to Pakistan, which creates such a lot of revenue and helps out the people who are in desperate need,” said the 39-year-old. “It is just a call out to all Pakistanis living abroad that they please support the Prime Minister’s relief fund.”
“Please give generously in Prime Minister’s relief fund,” he added.
Earlier in the day, Prime Minster Imran Khan in a series of tweets called out Pakistanis living abroad to donate in the cause.
He appealed them to donate generously in the coronavirus relief fund and has also set up a website for this purpose. You can donate by logging in here: http://covid.ophrd.gov.pk/.
