Collective policy being devised for mosques, Ramazan: Qadri

(Karachi) Minister for Religious Affairs Noorul Haq Qadri has said that in view of the coronavirus outbreak, a collective policy will be devised regarding mosques and Ramazan for the entire country.
Speaking at a press conference on Monday he said, "We will form this policy after consulting with religious leaders from all sects."
On the occasion, National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser said that coronavirus has not only affected Pakistan but it is a global problem. He said a Parliamentary Committee is working to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic in the country.
He pointed out that the government is familiar with the problems of overseas Pakistanis. He urged them to exercise patience and cooperate with the government. He added the foreign ministry has been directed to convey the concerns of overseas Pakistanis to the relevant governments abroad.
