The total number of coronavirus cases in Pakistan jumped to 5996 on Wednesday after several cases were reported from different cities.
In Sindh, the total number of cases recorded are 1518, with 35 deaths. In Punjab, the total number of cases are 2945, with the province reporting 28 deaths. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has 864 infected, with 38 people dying from the virus.
Balochistan has recorded 248 cases with the province confirming two deaths. Similarly, Islamabad has reported 140 coronavirus cases with one death. Gilgit-Baltistan has confirmed 234 cases with three deaths.
Meanwhile, Azad Kashmir has 46 coronavirus cases and has not reported any deaths. The country has reported 107 deaths due to the novel virus.
In Pakistan, 1446 people have also recovered from the deadly virus.
