Ration bags distributed among Thari people

Deputy Commissioner Tharparkar Dr Shahzad Tahir Thaheem has said that the district administration is purchasing ration items from the Utility stores as funds have been released by the Sindh Government and ration bags are being distributing among the poor of the Tharparkar District on daily basis at their door steps and till now 6156 ration bags have been distributed in the District, while purchase of more 18000 ration bags form utility stores are in process. Briefing the media at his office, the DC further said that from the Thar Foundation, Thardeep, Hands and philanthropists distributed the 14000 ration bags in the different areas of the district.

He further said that there are 18 facilitate centers have been established for the beneficiaries of Ahsas program in the district for distribution of cash 12000 rupees.
