Two murdered in ICT; cars stolen
Following the imposition of the lockdown in the city after the spread of the coronavirus, two cases of murder and several robbery cases were registered by various police stations.
Nilor Police Station registered a case in which a man is accused of having killed his wife over some domestic issue while Ramna Police Station also registered a murder case in which the deceased, Nazar Jan Khan, was said to have been tortured to death by some unidentified people.
Last week, unidentified people in separate incidents stole a car belonging to one Zarq Khan while in another similar case Zubair Abbas was robbed of his car in the limits of Kohsar Police Station.
In still another case, a car belonging to Muhammad Ali was stolen in the limits of Golra Police Station.
Various other police stations in the city registered over 100 cases against violators of Section 144 imposed in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak.
Police also registered cases against the shopkeepers who were overcharging their customers.
