Govt finalizing scheme to support SMEs, tweets Dawood

(Karachi) Adviser to Prime Minister for Commerce and Investment Abdul Razzak Dawood has said that the government is in the process of finalizing a scheme to support Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) across all sectors.
In a tweet on Sunday, Dawood said that the programme will be announced soon. He maintained that the move aims to help small businesses as compared to larger ones because of their weaker financial position.

Earlier, PM Imran said that the government has introduced a loan scheme to facilitate Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to bring improvement in the economy. He said the scheme will prove beneficial for those who are involved in setting up small and medium businesses.
The prime minister said, “We are giving priority to the people who are indulged in setting up of small and medium sized businesses.”
