Covid-19 outbreak: Parliamentary body meets today

3rd meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on Coronavirus (COVID-19) will be held in 20th April, 2020 at 12.00 noon in Parliament House, Islamabad. Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser will chair the meeting.

Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Health Dr. Zafar Mirza and provincial Ministers-in-Charge Health Departments will brief the Parliamentary Committee on current status of the coronavirus at National and the respective provincial level. The Ministers-in-charge Health Departments Asad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan will brief the Committee on status of Corona pandemic in their respective jurisdictions. They will also present their compliance reports on previous recommendations of the Parliamentary Committee.

Federal Minister for Industries & Production and Advisors to PM on Finance and Commerce will submit their written reports on the previous recommendations of the Parliamentary Committee. The Chairman NDMA will also submit his report on the previous recommendations of the Committee regarding relief operations.-PR
