Sindh ends NOC condition for businesses exempted from lockdown

The Sindh government has directed that all businesses that are declared exempted from lockdown ban do not need to furnish any undertakings or need to obtain any NOC or permission from the authorities.
Commissioner Karachi Iftikhar Ali Shallwani terminated the condition of taking NOC and undertaking from the exempted entities after which business, industrial activities, and restaurants could start their work without any paper submission.
Commissioner Karachi issued an administrative order for the business, industry, and restaurants under which all industries, restaurants, business persons must adhere to the rules and regulations issued by the Home Department and warned that Deputy Commissioners would take immediate action on violating the SOPs.
The federal government has extended lockdown in the country until April 30, but some industries have been allowed to work with security measures, which must comply with the terms and conditions.
The total number of coronavirus cases in Pakistan jumped to 8418 on Monday with the country confirming 176 deaths.
