Faisal Edhi contracts coronavirus

• He met Prime Minister Imran Khan last week.

Faisal Edhi, the head of the Edhi Foundation has tested positive for coronavirus.

According to local media reports, Edhi who is in Islamabad at the moment insisted on being tested since he had been on the ground working with patients.

His family as well as employees of the Edhi Foundation  will also be tested for coronavirus.

Last week, Faisal, the son of late Pakistani philanthropist Abdul Sattar Edhi, donated Rs10 million to the government’s Coronavirus Relief Fund. He also met Prime Minister Imran Khan.
