Keeping in view the guidelines for heat wave/critical temperature conveyed from the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) Sindh in order to curb the Heat Stroke effects and minimize energy crises in the district, the Deputy Commissioner Tharparkar issued an order for taking measures to all the departments concerned.
According to the order issued by the Deputy Commissioner Tharparkar, all the chief Municipal officers, town officers, chief officer District Council Tharparkar and all Assistant Commissioners and Mukhtiarkars concerned are directed for establishment of Heat Stroke Care Unit at the prominent public place preferably in the vicinity of hospital and bus terminal, the said Care unit shall be properly managed and availability of sweet drinking cold water ensured and availability of dispenser to be arranged by the chief officers District Council at the respective Care units.
