Advisor to KP CM on Information, Ajmal Wazir has said that with the confirming of 85 new cases during last 24 hours the total number of coronavirus patients has reached to 1,793 with four more deaths have also been recorded from the deadly virus.
Briefing media regarding coronavirus situation here in the Media Cell of the Information Department here Sunday at Civil Secretary, he said that 93 deaths have been occurred due to virus in the province so far.
He said that the recovery of 13 more patients within one day has reached the tally
of the recovered patients to 485.
He said that keeping in view the possibility of the spread of coronavirus, the government has fixed time frame for the opening of shops so the allowed businesses can work from morning to 4:00 P.M. that would be followed by complete lockdown to protect the people from the virus.
He paid tributes to Prof Dr Mohammad Javed, who had sacrificed life in the battle against coronavirus and said that the whole nation including the provincial government salutes such national heroes.
