Pakistan Test captain Azhar Ali has put up his Champions trophy shirt and cricket bat for auction to raise funds to help the people suffering from coronavirus lockdown.
According to the middle-order batsman, the bat, from which he scored his maiden triple tone during a day-night Test against West Indies, while the shirt, which is signed by the 2017 tournament winning squad members.
The 35-year-old took to Twitter to make the announcement where he revealed that he will be auctioning off a bat and a national jersey.
In the video message, the cricketer stated that the base price for the two items were Rs1mn each.
"These two things were very close to my heart and I intended on keeping them with me but desperate times call for desperate measures," he said.

Earlier, fast bowler Rumman Raees, who is also the member of Champions trophy winning squad, put up his debut ODI cap, which he received during the Champions Trophy, along with his jersey, cricket bat and the two-starred Islamabad United shirt.
The auction had managed to raise over Rs1mn.
