Major-General Syed Aamir made HIT Board Chairman for four years

The government has decided to appoint Major-General Syed Aamir Raza as Chairman Heavy Industries Taxlia Board for four years.

PA-25340 Lt. General Abdullah Dogar Chairman Heavy Industries Taxila Board (HITB) has proceeded on retirement with effect from April 15, 2020.

Under section 3(2) of the HIT Board Act 1997, the Chairman is appointed by the Federal Government, on the recommendation of the Chief f Army Staff. The sources said, the Chief of Army Staff has recommended the appointment of PA-27956 Major General Syed Aamer Raza HI (M) as Chairman of the HIT Board for a term of four years or till the retirement from Army whichever is earlier, with immediate effect as per section 4 of the HIT Board Act 1997.
