Under its digital transformation strategy, the Technical and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) has launched 'Hunarmand Ustad' online training programme for its teachers in collaboration with National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC).
In this connection, TEVTA Chairperson Ali Salman pointed out here on Wednesday that with the introduction of the 'Hunarmand Ustad' programme TEVTA takes a significant leap towards the implementation of digital transformation strategy as envisaged under its New Vision. "Under the 'Hunarmand Ustad' programme 650 teachers drawn from 284 TEVTA institutions will undergo online training and these teachers will, in turn, provide Competency Based Training and Assessment (CBTA) training to students of the Hunarmand Nojwan project, which envisages training 100,000 students in 56 demand-driven courses," he added.
Ali said that this programme was one of several steps in hand towards digitalisation of TEVTA to bring it in conformity with the demands of changing time.
