The total cadre strength of the Pakistan Customs Service (PCS) officials now stand at 501 as on May 6th, 2020.
According to a notification issued by the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) here on Thursday, the cadre strength of the PCS under the administrative control of the FBR totaled at 501.
Out of this, Grade-17 officials are 107; Grade-18, 156; Grade-19, 140; Grade-20, 71; Grade-21, 25, and cadre strength of Grade-22 officials of PCS stood at two.
According to another notification issued by the FBR, refer to the board's circular wherein all BS-18 officers of the IRS/PCS and ex-cadre who are in promotion zone were requested to get their performance evaluation reports (PERs) completed up to June 30th, 2019.
It has been observed that the PERs of officers of IRS/PCS and ex-cadre as per attached lists have not yet been received despite reminders.
