National Assembly to hold session on coronavirus today
- NA Speaker Asad Qaiser will not attend the session as he has been self-isolating at home after contracting coronavirus.
The National Assembly (NA) will meet on Monday after a gap of nearly two months to hold a session on the prevailing situation in the country due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The physical session has been summoned by President Arif Alvi on the demand of the opposition parties. The session will adhere to the health guidelines and standard operating procedures for ensuring safety of the members and the staff.
NA Speaker Asad Qaiser will not attend the session as he has quarantined himself after he tested positive for coronavirus.
