Model Customs Collectorate (MCC), Appraisement East has surpassed the revenue target by 7 percent in April. The collectorate had been assigned a revenue target of Rs 352.38 billion for the month of April. As compared to the assigned target, MCC collected Rs 378.02 billion, surpassing its revenue target by 7 percent.
The department has collected Rs. 131.51 billion as customs duty against the target of Rs 144.70 billion, depicting nine percent decline.
Around Rs 189.88 billion were collected on account of sales tax, Rs 55.10 billion as income tax and Rs 1.51 billion as income tax, showing 23 percent, 6 percent and 38 percent growth, respectively against the assigned revenue targets.
