Klopp opts Messi over Ronaldo
- "For me Messi, but I couldn't admire Ronaldo more than I do already," says Klopp.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has joined the battle of Messi v Ronaldo as he throws weight behind the Argentinian great over Juventus forward.
Both forwards have been dominating the world of football for over a decade where they shared as many as 11 Ballon d’Ors amongst them.
Talking to a YouTube channel freekickerz as cited by Goal.com, Klopp praised the Portuguese international by calling him a perfect player, but revealed that he likes Barcelona star more because he make everything looks simple.
"For me Messi, but I couldn't admire Ronaldo more than I do already," Klopp told YouTube channel freekickerz.
He added: “And therefore I like him maybe a little bit more as a player on the pitch. But Cristiano is also an absolutely incredible player. It’s really difficult therefore, but what both have in common is that both have left their footprints for such a long time. There are also some younger players who have a similar potential, but to do that over this time period is even more incredible.”
