Office bearers, members of All Pakistan WAPDA Hydro Electric Workers Union (CBA) along with a large number of FESCO employees staged a protest rally at canal road Abdullahpur Faisalabad and demanded for the payment of bonus before Eid because FESCO staff is striving hard to ensure interrupted power supply to consumers despite pandemic of corona virus and deserves it because they put their lives in danger to serve the nation.
The participants of the rally have appreciated the grant of bonus for the paramedics staff, 1122 emergency service and CDA Islamabad and demanded the Prime Minister Imran Khan to announce a bonus for the staff of Generation Companies (GENCO), Distribution Companies (DISCOs) and WAPDA because they are also providing excellent service to nation without any fear in current situation.
Regional Chairman Hydro Union (CBA) Sarfraz Hundal assured that FESCO staff would achieve all targets set by the authority and under the leadership of Minister for Energy Umer Ayub, Secretary Imran Ali, MD PEPCO Wasim Mukhtar and CEO FESCO Shafiqul Hassan FESCO would stand at top among the all DISCO. He also made appeal to the PM Imran Khan to encourage the staff because this is only way to make Pakistan prosper and brighter.
Zonal Chairman Second Circle Asghar Ali Gill, Zonal Chairman Muhammad Khan Niazi, Munir Ghani, Mian Sajid, Haji Murtaza, Mian Farooq, Haji Naseer, Lala Najabat, Rana Boota, Rana Tariq, Azam Wahla, Ahmed Ali Zia, Mustafa Jatt, Umer Sangra, Rashid Gill, Noor Zaman, Kashif Sherazi and other also addressed the rally and demanded the bonus.
At the end of rally, great tribute was paid to the martyred of corona virus and expressed full satisfaction over the leadership of Khurshid Ahmed Khan.
