Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM-P) Saturday extended support to traders and businessmen saying that the party would join them if they take to streets due to their hardships, caused by lockdown.
MQM-P Convener Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui talking to delegation of traders said that nobody is more loyal than the trader of Karachi, who contributes more taxes than any other in entire Pakistan.
He appealed to government to extend loan and subsidy on electricity to traders of Karachi to face the greatest economic depression in the history.
Siddiqui also rejected Corona Relief Ordinance of Sindh Government and said that provincial government would never take any step in the interest of Karachi.
He said that the hospitals in Karachi and Sindh are not run on government funding, but being run by donations and charity. He also appealed to federal government ventilators to hospitals in Karachi, which were provided by China and others countries.
He asked Mayor Karachi to take the "case of Karachi" before Prime Minister and said that Karachi gave more donations for Shaukat Khanum Hospital and Namal College than any other city. He hoped that the Prime Minister would soon take out the time to meet MQM-P for the resolution of issues of Karachi.
