Futures spread down by 490bps

The futures spread declined by 490bps to 7.10 percent on the last day of the outgoing week.

Trading activities on the futures counter however remained thin as average daily volumes decreased by 7.0 percent to 43.14 million shares as compared to previous week's average of 46.41 million shares. Average daily trading value on the futures counter declined by 16.6 percent and stood at Rs 1.88 billion during this week.
