The government has announced six-day-Eid holidays - May 22 to May 27 - for the forthcoming Eid-ul-Fitr including Juma-tul-Wida which falls on May 22, prolonging the festive vacations.
An official said the Ministry of Interior has issued notification for Eid holidays in continuation of notification titled "Public and optional holidays for the year, 2020" issued on December 5, 2019 which did not include Juma-tul-Wida as a holiday.
This year the two weekly holidays (Saturday and Sunday) have not been included as Eid holidays and four working days have been given as Eid holidays.
