Muslims were not responsible for any world war

Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Secretary General Syed Nayyar Hussain Bukhari said that Muslims were not responsible for any world war but Muslims were being punished.

He expressed these views, while speaking at a seminar on Palestine at the Press Club, here on Wednesday. Bukhari said that Israel wanted to change the map of the world.

He said that Zionist lobby was getting stronger and had strong influence on the United States and other world powers. Muslims lack leadership and there seems to be no role of The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the Arab League, the PPP leader said.

Bukhari said that the United Nations had become redundant for the Muslim-majority countries. He said that the UN had a dual policy and standard.

The PPP leader said that if there could be an European Parliament then why not an Asian parliament. He said that he laid the foundation of Asian parliament and its office was established in the Senate of Pakistan.
