Hot, humid weather may continue

The city is likely to receive gusty winds with hot and humid weather in the next 24 hours, the Met Office said on Friday.

The city is likely to receive gusty winds with hot and humid weather in the next 24 hours, the Met Office said on Friday.

Temperature is expected to remain between 36 and 38 degrees Celsius on Saturday with humidity up to 75 percent in the morning and 65 percent in the evening.

On Saturday: Mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. However isolated rain wind-thunderstorm is expected in Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Upper Punjab, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.

In the last 24 hours: Weather remained hot and dry in most parts of the country.

Maximum Temperature was recorded in Dadu and Larkana 47 degrees Celsius, each, Bhakkar, Sibbi and Jaccobabad 46, each.

"A shallow westerly wave is affecting upper parts of the country and likely to persist next 48 hours," the Met said.
