Governor, CM, Shahbaz offer Eid prayers in Lahore
Governor Punjab Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar and Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar on Sunday offered Eid prayers separately by following social distancing SOPs. Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar offered Eid prayers at Governor's House Lahore, while the Chief Minister offered prayers at Chief Minister's office.
On the other hand, the PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif also offered Eid prayers in Lahore by following social distancing SOPs. Prayers were offered for the development, prosperity, stability and peace in the country. Prayers were offered for the martyrs of corona and the plane crash. Prayers were also offered for salvation of Covid-19.
After offering Eid prayers, the CM went to the residence of martyred pilot of Karachi plane crash Capt Sajjad Gul in Defense and condoled with Gul Muhammad Bhatti, the father of martyred pilot, his wife, son Usman, daughter and other family members.
Expressing his heartfelt condolences with the bereaved family members, the CM said that pilot Sajjad Gul got martyrdom while discharging his duty and its our faith that martyrs are alive.
Later, Sardar Usman went to the resident of Chief Executive Officer Urban Unit Khlaid Sher Dil who got martyrdom in Karachi plane crash in GOR 1. The chief minister expressed his heartfelt sympathy and condolences to the mother of Shaheed Khalid Sher Dil, his brother Mujahid Sher Dil and other family members.
He paid homage to the invaluable services of Shaheed Khalid Sher Dil for the government and said that Shaheed Khalid Sher Dil was a dutiful and honest officer who was in the front line in the war against Corona pandemic. He maintained that Shaheed Khalid Sher Dil performed his duties with diligence and honesty during his career. The martyrdom of Khalid Sher Dil is a great loss.
