Chief Executive Officer of North Karachi Industrial Development & Management Company (NKIDMC), Sadiq Muhammad, expressed deep concern over non-compliance of social distance and violation of SOPs by the public in the presence of deadly disease of coronavirus.
He said that there is lack of social distancing in businesses, commercial centres and mosques, which is more of a threat in the presence of Covid-19 pandemic.
"Pakistan's economy was already in deep crises, so the government needs to ensure strict implementation of precautionary measures against coronavirus and encourage masses to maintain social distance as social distancing between people is the only solution to prevent this deadly epidemic," he said.
NKIDMC CEO suggested that social distancing should be strictly enforced during prayers in mosques so that people could have the privilege of praying in congregation without any hindrance.
Sadiq Mohammad also suggested that at least 2 gatherings be held on the occasion of Friday prayers to save the lives of the people from the dangers of Covid-19 pandemic, while in business and commercial centres SOPs should be implemented along with ensuring social distancing as now we have to run our business & industries in the presence of coronavirus.
