Capital witnesses 92 new cases of Covid-19

The mortality rate of Covid-19 patients in the federal capital on Saturday rose to over one percent after one more patient died, bringing the death toll to 23 in the city.

The mortality rate of Covid-19 patients in the federal capital on Saturday rose to over one percent after one more patient died, bringing the death toll to 23 in the city.
According to official data, the tally of Covid-19 patients in the capital rose to 2,192 after 92 more tested positive for Covid-19. Out of 2,192 cases, 161 have recovered till date, the data says.
It says that on May 29, total number of reported cases were 2,100, on May 28, 2015, on May 27, 1879, on 26 May 1,728 on 25 May 1,641 on 24 May 1,592, on 23 May 1,452, on 22 May 1,326, on May 21, 1,255 on May 20, 1,138 on May 19, 1,034 on May 18, 997 on May 17, 947 on May 16, 921 on May 15.
Similarly, on May 14, 822 cases for Covid-19 existed, May 13, 759, on May 12, 716, May 11, 679, May 10, 641, May 9, 609, May 8, 558, May 7, 521, May 6, 485, May 5, 464, May 4, 415, May 3, 393, on May 2, 365, and May 1, 343.
According to officials, out of total 2,192, 157 cases were reported from Sector I-10, 141 from Lohi Bher, 121 from Tarlai, 105 from Sector G-9, 97 from Sector G-8, 92 from Sohan, 96 from Bhara Kahu, 96 from Sector I-8, 95 from Sector G-7, and 90 from Sector G-6.
Another 85 from G-10, 74 from G-13, 63 from Rawat, 54 from Sector I-9, 51 from Chak Shehzad, 41 from Sector E-11, 39 from Sector F-11, 39 from unspecified addresses, 38 from Khana Pul, 37 from Sector F-7, 33 from F-10, 30 from Jangi Syedan and 28 from Sector F-6, 28 from Sector H-13.
As many as 18 cases have been reported from Ali Pur, 17 from Kirpa, 13 each from H-10 and G-15, 13 from Tarnol, 10 each from Bari Imam and E-16, nine from Gokina, eight each from Chirrah, G-12, G-14 and I-14, seven each from F-5, Kurri, F-15, D-12, E-7, and Sihala, six each from H-8, I-11, and Koral, five from B-17, four each from Phulgran, Pindhegwal, Saidpur, and Model Town Hummak, two each from D-17, F-17, E-14, and I-12, one each from D-15, E-8, E-9, F-13, I-16, I-17 and Mumtaz City.
Various teams of Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) administration visited markets of various sectors for implementation of SOPs. They also conducted price checking and fines were imposed on violations. They also sealed three sops due to violations of SOPs.
