Country's death toll reaches 1,483 as 88 more people die of coronavirus

• The total number of infected people in the country has reached 69,496.
• The highest number of corona cases have been reported in Sindh with 27,360 patients.
• At least, 25,271 patients have recovered from the virus.

(Karachi) At least 3,039 new coronavirus cases have been reported while 88 people lost their lives due to the disease across the country during the last 24 hours. The total number of infected people in the country has reached 69,496.

According to the government's Covid-19 portal, 25,056 cases have so far been detected in Punjab, 27,360 in Sindh, 9,540 in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, 4,193 in Balochistan, 2,418 in Islamabad, 678 in Gilgit-Baltistan, and 251 in Azad Kashmir.

During 24 hours, 25,271 patients have recovered from the virus while the death toll stands at 1,483.

Similarly,14,972 corona tests were also carried out.
